I tried out AP Boonprot. It's very effective with Discord heroes.
It's pretty bad with most PUGs. Here's why. An average PUG will usually consist of 2-3 elementalists, a ranger, two or warriors/assassins/dervishes, two monks, and the rest assorted necros/ritualists/mesmers/what-have-you.
The problem with a PUG player of each class:
Ranger: Usually isn't running anything very useful.
Warrior: Tanking, instead of doing damage.
Assassin: Perma tanking, instead of death chains.
Mesmer: Some useless shit.
Elementalist: Thinks elemental damage is good in Hard Mode.
Dervish: Avatar of Balthazar and other wammo-esque shit.
Paragon: SY spam is good.
Necromancer: Usually not too bad.
Ritualist: Kicking ass with Spirits, usually.
Monk: Usually doing his/her job well.
In other words, the party isn't usually dealing enough damage, and AP relies on the sort of damage you get from a Discord trio or an Assassin who's doing his job (damage).
Still, I do love AP Boonprot in groups that provide enough damage to power it. Involves a lot more active gameplay than generic HB healspam.

Had great fun with the Nolani thread, for the 4th time won a place in a GW art contest, got hats and giggled myself silly imagining the Mad King voiced by David Bowie like in Labyrinth, did the quests on my 10 chars, and between my husband and I got over 12 stacks of ToT bags. That will put a nice chunk into his titles.

R3 gamer and happy about that. Probably ended up with about 3 stacks of ToT bags between quests and CB, but I've been selling them so I'm not sure.

i got both hats, and from doing the quests only got about a stack of tot bags (i was too busy almost all week to get more), and i also got to explore the UW as a cc, which was pretty cool. getting to the reaper in the bone pit was challenging - i really liked doing that quest.

Made a new char and skele'd her to legendary survivor. With which came many many stacks of ToT. I'm no farmer, too impatient (read:lazy) to do anything more than a few times, but I farmed for the title for a few hours with my guildies and had good fun. And accidentally more than doubled my networth in the process.
Time to buy some new armor

I got 23 trick or treat bags and used 2 pumpkin head things. I have far too much work to do and enjoyed my weekend away elsewhere from GuildWars lands. But then again I only play it for roughly 4 hours per week thesedays.

hehe I solo farmed 17 stacks of tots on the last holloween quest saturday and sunday- it probably be double that if they didn't put that lame cooldown on capping skeletons.. I was standing around waiting to cap most of the time
quest was broken man.. too easy for oldschool farmers who knew what was up- probably why they won't be doing it next year.. I kept seeing groups trying to form for skele farming- just shake my head
